I 100% fully agree with you on everything

Luckily living in an area with cable I can't remember the last time we had an internet outage - it's literally been 100% uptime. I don't think I could work from home on ADSL ever again.

I'm lucky enough (or rather I moved to a house specifically) to have a spare room as a dedicated office. I decorated it with white walls and bright lighting specifically to keep a mental separation between work and home. It's still difficult though because other people don't really respect that separation - if you're home then they feel they can wander in and chat to you - that's a hurdle I'm still trying to overcome.

Social networking for me is much less of an issue these days, I find the days I don't log on to any social networks to be much less stressful - facebook and forums drive me insane with stupid people and I'm constantly borderline just deleting my accounts. The issue of "ooh crikey the grass looks long" is one of my biggest - there's always something that needs doing around the house and then you find yourself working till 10pm to catch up.

The other biggest issue is how easy it is to slip into work when you're in the mood. Often at 10pm I'll pick the macbook up and start coding because I've had an idea. Great for business but not great for my social life or seperation - and it's too easy to find yourself working 50hr weeks

Me too! Many thanks for this, would have had me stumped. Host must of change file structure as this site worked fine for about 3 years! The CSS was pointing to an absolute path of iepngfix.htc, just changed to a relative path cleared the browser cache and the pages loaded fine!

A better way use it - $.ajaxSetup()

http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.ajaxSetup/
Description: Set default values for future Ajax requests.

$.ajaxSetup({cache:true});
$.getScript("/script.js");

or if you not want to cache others jQuery Ajax request in you app,
you can specify ruleset to exact url:

$.ajaxSetup({url:"/script.js",cache:true});
$.getScript("/script.js");

Awesome post API, exactly what I needed have been trying the Yahoo Places API; however it is VERY off on accuracy to a point that it makes it useless by just Postcode which really should be easier to do than address.

It would be nice to know how exactly you have done this (I personally I was almost coming to scraping Google -- somehow)
